¡OH POR DIOS!

Theater

¡Oh por Dios! was a bizarre theater play about three men trying to retell the stories of the Bible in a non-boring way. It was directed by Rocio Tovar and created through a collective process.

I worked as Assistant Director and took part in the collective creation together with Rocio Tovar, Daniela Lanzara, Manuel Gold, Franco Cabrera, and Guillermo Castañeda. I was also sound operator and head of technical operations. The play ran for two years and went on a national tour across Peru.

Working under Rocio was decisive for me. She was my mentor, teaching me about rhythm, timing, and strategies for entertainment, while also giving me a motherly support to navigate life during dark times.
