Motivational Quotes is a series of digital illustrations created in the Tumblr era, when loneliness and self-irony were everyday survival tools. The work borrows the aesthetics of internet quotes but twists them into something darker, closer to early meme culture than self-help.

It reflects how millennial isolation often found expression online, where affirmation and despair lived side by side in pixelated type over random backdrops.
